If someone you know spends all day building things with AI, they pay for it monthly, and the thing they pay for quietly hands them a limit. Nobody tells them how much is left until it runs out, usually mid-sentence. This sits on their desk and tells them.

What it actually is

A small round screen in a printed shell, about the size of a coaster stood on its edge. It shows one number: how much of this month’s AI allowance they have left, and when it comes back. That is the whole job.

It plugs into their computer with the included cable. There is no app to subscribe to, no account to make, nothing to renew. You buy it once.

If you are not sure which one they use: most people who use one use more than one, and the gauge handles all of them. If it turns out they only use the free version of ChatGPT, it will not work for them, and you can send it back within 30 days.

Which one should you get?

Terminal is the safe choice. It looks like an old computer terminal with a glowing green screen, it needs no explanation, and it is the one we would pick for someone we did not know well.

Baseline is the other safe pick: a plain round dial with no character on it at all, for someone whose desk is not a joke. After that it depends how silly you want to be. There is a toaster, where the number sits on a slice of bread. A parking meter. A piggy bank with a crack down the side. A cat asleep on a ball of yarn. A graphics card. A rubber duck, which programmers will understand and you do not have to.

Each picture opens the order page with that shell already chosen. Shells pop off and on by hand in seconds, so more of them can be added later.

Ordering for a specific day

Every one is made to order, printed and assembled by hand in Utah, so it is not pulled off a shelf. Everything needed to build it is on hand, and orders leave here within 2 to 5 business days.

If they do not use any of those

It is still a clock. Every Griftmeter has a clock face built in, analog or digital, wearing whichever shell you picked, and that works with no AI subscription and no account at all. If they start paying for one of the tools later, the same gauge starts reading it. Nothing to buy again.

The honest part

This is a desk object. It will not make anyone faster at their job. What it does is take a number that is deliberately hard to find and put it somewhere they cannot ignore, which is a small and specific pleasure for the kind of person who would like it, and mildly annoying for everyone else.

If it is wrong for them, send it back within 30 days for any reason or none. Return shipping is on you; the refund goes back the way you paid within five business days of it reaching us.

What it costs

$77.77 for the gauge, the cable and one shell of your choosing. Extra shells are $13.77 each when added to the same order, or $17.77 on their own later, if you want to give them a couple to swap between.
