Griftmeter Runner

Free. See where your AI usage goes.

Griftmeter Runner is a small program for your computer. It reads the usage records Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Copilot and Cursor already keep, and turns them into Reports: what fills your conversations, which models did the work, your priciest prompts, and how close you are to your 5-hour and weekly limits.

With a Griftmeter gauge

Runner tells you what happened. A gauge tells you while it is happening.

Connect a gauge once and these switch on for good on that computer. One gauge covers up to three computers.

What it reads, and what it never does

Runner counts: models, effort, token counts and times. Your prompts, replies and files are never kept, and your numbers never leave home. There is no account, no email, and no tracking.

Install

macOS or Linux, in Terminal:

curl -fsSL https://griftmeter.com/runner/install.sh | sh

Windows, in PowerShell:

irm https://griftmeter.com/runner/install.ps1 | iex

Either line checks the download against its published SHA-256, installs for your user only, and opens Runner when it is done. Prefer an installer? Download one.
